Behind the scenes filming our latest TVC.

We are Australia’s finest pulverised coffee, serving the nation since 1969.

There’s nothing like sharing an authentic pulverised style coffee with family and friends.  Whether it’s a smooth Greek style coffee with the perfect ‘kaimaki’ or a rich and delightful Turkish style coffee that says welcome ‘misafirperverlik’, the sophisticated flavour of Oasis coffee offers you a perfect cultural connection every time.

To celebrate our fresh new look packaging, the return of Melbourne Coffee Week and our upcoming stall at Antipodes Lonsdale Greek Festival 2022, we are launching an exciting OASIS Coffee brand campaign. We have chosen to burst onto TV screens SBS Food on Demand as more and more Australians – of all backgrounds – are also discovering this style of coffee and its full flavour.  You can also tune into SBS Greek, Turkish and Arabic Radio channels and listen out for our ads.  This creative will also be rolled out on web and social media advertising.

Dean Makris Foodservice General Manager, whose father George worked for OASIS for 30 years, recently reconnected with Ruth Bardis both a long-time family friend and an award-winning cookbook author and photographer over a Greek Coffee.

“A ritualistic experience, having a ‘kafethaki’ with Ruth took us back to our younger days of laughter with friends, siblings and even life lectures from Aunties and Uncles”.

Ruth ads “When I was approached by the team at Oasis Coffee to be the talent of their upcoming ad, it really was a no brainer.   From previous collaborations I knew the team would be amazing to work with. I was anticipating an enjoyable day drinking copious amounts of Greek coffee while the camera crew did their thing.  This it was, and much more!

A good day starts with great coffee and for me, that has always been Oasis Coffee.  I have vivid memories from my childhood, when my parents would drink 2-3 cups of Oasis coffee a day.  I can still recall the opening of the bag; the particular aroma when it was brewing; and the thick kaimaki achieved every time my mum would pour the coffee into small coffee cups.

My father taught me, ‘when you find a good thing you stick to it’, so I applied this piece of advice to my choice of Greek coffee.  Why change a family tradition that’s this good! Decades later I appreciate not only the sediment and nostalgia when I drink Oasis coffee, but its unique and amazing taste”

To add the icing to the cake… well the baklava to the table, we went to our go-to for all sweet Greek treats Nikos Cakes, an Oakleigh OG and Melbourne icon.
